ALIS Gives Back

While ALIS' primary goal is to help you learn and grow your business by connecting you to the important players in the industry, ALIS was also founded on the guiding principle of shared success, giving back, and a commitment to the community it serves.

Student Programs

Since its inception, ALIS has allocated a portion of its revenues to benefit the educational, research, and training missions of the AHLA Foundation. The AHLA Foundation – the nonprofit arm of the American Hotel & Lodging Association – works in support of a stronger, more equitable hotel workforce, by enabling action and accountability across the industry. Through career development programs, inclusive leadership training, and scholarship initiatives, our work plays a vital role in helping hotel employees find their home in hospitality. To support the important mission of the Foundation, a portion of ALIS proceeds support AHLA Foundation's ALIS Scholarship, which has awarded more than $700,000 to 278 students over the last five years.

In 2025, ALIS worked with nearly 100 student ambassadors from 26 schools across the country.
