The Law Conference for Hotel Owners and Operators

The newest conference to be launched by BHN and AH&LA under the ALIS umbrella, ALIS Law focuses on current legal matters of interest to hotel owners and operators. While the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS), conference discusses the issues and opportunities related to buying, selling, and building hotels, ALIS Law focuses on the “day after” the deal closes and the many legal issues owners and operators face.

The annual ALIS Law conference was held January 23-24, 2017, at the Residence Inn and Courtyard hotel, adjacent to L.A. LIVE. Attendees included general counsel teams of hotel ownership companies, management companies and brands, as well as law firms that advise hoteliers.

ALIS Law Dine Around
Back by popular demand, ALIS Law delegates were invited to participate in a unique, networking dining experience at one of several locations within walking distance of L.A. LIVE. The Dine Around event was scheduled for Monday, January 23, 2017, and started around 7:30pm. This event was optional and registration for the ALIS Law Dine Around event was limited and could be purchased as part of the ALIS Law registration process at an additional fee of US$200.

MCLE Credit
ALIS Law has been approved for 5.75 MCLE credit hours in the state of California.
In addition, attorneys in attendance may be eligible to receive MCLE credit through reciprocity or attorney self-submission in other states, and ALIS Law will help provide the details needed to apply. Please contact your state bar or licensing authority to verify the requirements and process to apply. In order for ALIS Law to have record of your attendance on file, please make sure you sign-in at the start of each session. An official record of attendance form will be available on a table outside each session room.
